Claudia 00:58Yes.

Talcon 01:00Are there any stipulations on that consent? Like, do you want people to ask permission first, anything like that?

Claudia 01:08 I like to see what they're going to use. Yeah,

Talcon 01:11so you'd like them to talk to you about the project. Okay. Good to know. Also, after we do this recording, we will give it to you, and you'll have 30 days to review it. Let us know if there's anything that you would like us to omit before we like archive it with the museum.

Claudia 01:54No. Okay.

Talcon 01:55Okay. So, Claudia, will you share with us, like, how old you are today, and what year you were born?

Claudia 02:06I'm 71 years old, born in 1955

Talcon 02:11And where did you grow up?

Claudia 02:13In Johnstown, Pennsylvania, near Johnstown,

Talcon 02:17in the country, or

Claudia 02:18kind of wide open suburbia, yeah, little bit country, but houses around.

Talcon 02:28And then, what brought you to Athens County?

Claudia 02:32I was supposed to go to California, but we bought a step van and it broke down before we even could get out of Cleveland, and so we had no place to go, and somebody said, "Hey, I have a house in Athens, and so we came to Athens. I had to leave Cleveland because my son was had a lot of allergies, and the doctor said, "Just leave, get out of Cleveland, it's too polluted. So that was my purpose to get out of Cleveland, and ended up in Athens. Didn't know anybody or anything about it, but fell in love with it immediately.

Talcon 03:04Yeah, what did you fall in love with about Athens, area?

Claudia 03:07Oh, it was just so friendly and beautiful, and the Strouds run, and the lakes, and the rivers, and the wildlife. I just.. I felt at home here.

Talcon 03:17So, about what year was that?
