Up for sale is a rare piece of music history from here in the Detroit area. My father ran the box office at the Royal Oak Music Theater and saved this poster from the screening of the documentary that was held on April 1, 1989. The second showing was in Ann Arbor and this is a great piece from the original rebroadcast of the film. Following Sinclair's arrest in 1971 at the Crisler Arena many of these great acts got together on his behalf and held the John Sinclair Freedom Rally. The performances were filmed and made into a documentary by John Lennon & Yoko Ono. This is the original poster that was to be displayed in the lobby at the Royal Oak Music Theater.
